Keeping up was definitely NOT a job. They just lived their life while a camera followed them around. That definitely is NOT working but „existing“ while the cameraman lets the camera roll.
NOW yes, now they have indeed jobs. Businesses to run. Brands. Social media. Interviews and all that stuff.
But back then, keeping up definitely wasn‘t a „job“
They had their own boutique shop. They slowly gave that up as the show gained momentum. Theirs isn’t a “We came from nothing” rags to riches story. It never was.
