Kristen Bell might be having a little too much fun working from home.
The Veronica Mars alum — whose baby product company filed for bankruptcy recently — took to her Instagram on Sunday to reveal that her antics behind her desk while on the clock have caused her colleague to hilariously request to sit somewhere else in the future.
‘I work from home and share a circular table desk w/ @go4ana,’ she wrote alongside a video of her her work-from-home setup.’ This morning she sent me this video w/ the text ‘request to have my own desk in 2024.’ I love her and I’m shocked she puts up with me.’
The accompanying clip features the star applying a fake mustache and goatee to her face, rocking her dog like a baby and trying to stick silver rhinestones at the corner of her eye.
‘New year, new you?’ her co-worker asks in the video, as Bell quips, ‘Yeah might be. How am I supposed to know if it’s the new me unless I try it? Maybe I could get cast in Euphoria.’
In the following sequence, she sports a hat bearing the words ‘Sauna Captain’ and informs her colleagues during a work call, ‘It’s cold in here.’
Bell has been married to Dax Shepherd since 2013, and they share two daughters Lincoln, 10, and Delta, eight.
Earlier this year, while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel, she hilariously explained why telling her daughters that she tried hallucinogenic mushrooms recently ‘backfired.’
The actress revealed that her little girls tattled to their ‘more conservative’ grandmother saying, ‘I overheard my daughter talking to my mom, to [her] grandma, going, ‘I’m actually really glad they share all this stuff with me. Anyway, mom really wanted to try mushrooms.”
Bell also made it clear to viewers that her littles ones ‘fully know’ what mushrooms are as their dad, 46, taught them about his sobriety from alcohol and cocaine.
‘He’s really honest about what alcohol does to your body. How it makes you feel funny and impairs things, and what drugs do to your body and why most drugs are illegal and all that stuff,’ she said.
‘I am very lucky to be married to an ex-drug addict,’ Bell quipped. ‘Not only did he know where to get the mushrooms … he got that really nice, quality, organic, set and setting, beautiful mushroom.’
Over the years, Bell has told the world that she and her husband always choose to be honest with their children.
Shepard is an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker who rose to fame in 2003 on the Ashton Kutcher-led prank show, Punk’d.
Shepard has appeared in multiple feature films as well including Without a Paddle (2004), Employee of the Month (2006), Baby Mama (2008), Hit and Run (2012), CHiPs (2017) and When in Rome (2010), which costarred his wife, Kristen.
Bell got her start on Broadway and landed the title role in the TV show Veronica Mars, which ran until 2007.
She’s also known for her voiceover work in the Frozen film franchise, where she played Anna. Her other notable roles include The Good Place, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Bad Moms.
