  1. > “I think if you wear corsetry for long enough, your body really molds to it,” she explains of the show’s costumes. “Sometimes they come in a fitting for a fashion designer and they put a corset on me and I’m like, ‘Oh, you can go tight,’ and they go, ‘What do you mean?’ I’m like, ‘My body now will go whew.’”

    > “I saw some trolls. They were like, ‘They photoshopped your waist,’ and I was like, ‘No, they did not,’” she continues.

I think people just can’t comprehend different body shapes. She has a round face and big boobs so to them that means it’s impossible her waist might be smaller.

Why wouldn’t she have a small waist? Isn’t she about 5 foot tall

The same way a thin woman can have an “apple” shaped body (broader shoulders and bust, wider waist and smaller hips and thighs) a curvy woman can have an hour glass or pear shape. It’s hardly a coincidence the overwhelming majority of plus size models have an hour glass or pear shape.

  5. Fatphobic people say anything like 90% of the Bridgerton costumes are *empire waist* dresses. Even if they weren’t light laced to hell (which I honestly think is unnecessary), what waist are you even looking at?

    edits for accuracy!

I keep seeing people say that she looks so different than the previous seasons. Well duh? They were purposefully putting her in unflattering costumes that cut across the bust and billowed out. She’s the Lainey Boggs of Bridgerton.
