On June 26, 2024, Queen Margrethe of Denmark attended the opening of the exhibition “The Viking Sorceress: Völva” at the National Museum of Denmark. This new exhibition at Denmark’s National Museum explores the history and legacy of a mysterious female Viking sorceress, known as the Völva. The interactive exhibition, titled “The Viking Sorceress,” has been created in collaboration with experts from the Royal Danish Theatre.
