  1. I think the demographics still have considerable overlap with – ok there’s no good portmanteau for Gladiator/Wicked – People who want to see musicals, and people who want to see hot men.

  2. Seeing sweaty Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal fighting one another to finally seeing Wicked as a movie might be what does me in ngl. It doesn’t really work well with having their titles mashed up a la Barbenheimer tho

Barbenheimer was an organically made thing. Another one will never happen because you know future attempts are studio manufactured. That and there won’t be another point in time where a Barbie movie or an Oppenheimer biopic will release at the same time again lol.

What would this pairing even be called lol. Wickedator? Gladiated? Defying Gladvity?

Stop trying to make barbenheimer happen Hollywood. WE decide if it can happen again not your seed marketing plan.

  5. Hate it when something happens coincidentally by fun and then corporations and journalists spend the next while trying to force a 2.0 version to happen inorganically

  6. I……..don’t think so.

anyway moana 2 comes out a week later so ik what i’ll be seeing

I have been looking forward to a Wicked movie for years… but somehow, all the stuff I’m seeing about it (including the cast, and it being 2 parts) isn’t doing it for me. I don’t know exactly what I expected, I just know it was better than this. I hope I’m wrong.
