      Is it true this is about Lady Jane Grey?

      I heard this is kind of raunchy which would be a little weird considering Lady Jane Grey was like 16 when she died.

      I watched through this one weekend without knowing its source material. So the fantasy element threw me off but I enjoyed the twist. This show has a lot of charm, it’s one of my favorite watches this year purely because the cast really put on a great performance. I’m plugging my ears whenever someone has a valid critique tbh !

      I really enjoyed it, it was super fun and easy to watch. But I just couldn’t figure out the point of basing it around real people when they didn’t embody any of the characteristics of those people, nor follow the actual events of the time. It could have easily been about a made up kingdom and would have probably worked better with the fantasy element.

      It’s crazy to me that shows like this and The Great and Bridgerton and The Buccaneers are so big now but CWs Reign still gets dragged. They were spearheading creative alternate history and it was over 10 years ago.

      Idk. It was just meh for me. Idk why. I wasn’t invested in the characters at all.
