lady Deadpool’s legs the actress behind the mask has sparked intense speculation and debate on social media there’s a split between those guessing Taylor Swift or Blake Lively the teaser running a minute long shows glimpses of dogpool and the villains giant man Hideway but it’s lady Deadpool’s legs that have really caught everyone’s eye some fans are convinced it’s Blake Lively Ryan Reynold’s wife while others argue just as passionately that Taylor Swift a close friend of both Lively and Reynolds is the one behind those legs as Rolling Stone reported both Taylor Swift and Blake Lively have been rumored to be involved in the film and have been seen on set according to various reports but before we address those rumors who is l Lady Deadpool why is there so much excitement about her and what are her powers Lady Deadpool AKA Wanda Wilson from Earth 310 burst onto the Marvel scene in 2010 created by Victor gisher and Rob lefeld she’s been causing a stir in the comics ever since you might have heard rumors about her possibly hitting the big screen after Deadpool Rock theaters in 2016 in her Universe she’s Tangled with a Captain America doppelganger called called General America while getting into all sorts of multiversal Mischief during this storyline Wanda’s got a thing for Charles Randolph which really pushes her into the whole fight even though she’s a variant her crush on him shows she’s got a personality a lot like Wade’s she can be a pain sometimes which makes her relationships a bit Rocky her humors as ranchy as Deadpools which is pretty funny considering Blake Lively helped write some of Deadpool’s jokes just like the original hero she’s dealt with a lot including battling cancer At first she had scars but these days she usually doesn’t show them anymore as for the powers lady Deadpool’s got some familiar skills in her Arsenal just like Wade she’s got that mutant ability to heal super fast but unlike him she doesn’t Rock the whole messed up look these days she’s also got super speed crazy reflexes and a nice immunity to stop like Mind Tricks and diseases just like regular Deadpool overall her powers match up pretty closely with his but she tends to come off as a bit more sane and put together after training in the Rebellion against General America and the US government lady Deadpool’s got some serious combat skills unlike Deadpool she’s more coordinated in fights thanks to her time using pistols and katanas with the resistance crew she’s become a real powerhouse plus because she’s more stable and doesn’t look as rough as Deadpool people see her in a positive light sometimes folks even think she could lead the team better than Deadpool himself still she’s thought to be a tad less physically strong than the guy version now let’s talk about Wanda Wilson’s part in the MCU film Deadpool and Wolverine are teaming up in this wild new movie where they jump through different universes to save the day since Disney took over and all that jazz people think this flick might end with the regular old Deadpool being the last one standing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe the trailers dropped hints about the TVA and different versions of characters like Cassandra Nova so fans reckon we’ll see all sorts of Heroes from across the Multiverse lady Deadpool’s a natural fit here kind of like a fresh take on Wade Wilson they haven’t spilled all the beans on what exactly the heroes are up against but lady Deadpool’s known for her epic battles and where her loyalties lie joining forces with Marvel’s Big Shots is straight out of the Deadpool core comic story line on the flip side she could even play the bad guy drawing from those intense Deadpool kills Deadpool plots beside her in the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie they’re teasing all sorts of Deadpool variants in the Comics Deadpool had to put together this crazy team called the Deadpool Corp to handle some huge Cosmic threat it’s got characters like Lady Deadpool dogpool kidpool and even more versions from different universes the trailers have already shown us dogpool and Lady Deadpool and the whole setup looks a lot like how it went down in the comics people are thinking we might even see headpool and others jumping in on the action well the idea of a Deadpool core in the new movie might not end well for Our Heroes in the comics all those different Deadpools including lady Deadpool end up biting the dust by the story’s end so it’s looking like we might see a scene similar to how the X Force got wiped out in Deadpool 2 pretty soon after they’re introduced but don’t count Lady Deadpool out just yet even if things go south in Deadpool and Wolverine she’s likely to pop up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe eventually Marvel’s been all about exploring different versions of characters lately like we saw in Loki with all those variants and in Doctor Strange with the Illuminati so whether it’s in this movie or down the line Wanda Wilson could bring some fresh heroics to the franchise now let’s dive into who might be playing the character a bunch of folks commenting on this stuff think Ryan Reynold’s wife Blake Lively will snag the role while another big chunk of fans reckon it could be Taylor Swift who’s tight with both Lively and Reynolds I hope everyone gets to work with their best friend at least once in their lifetime Reynolds added in the video’s caption further stoking speculation I know I can’t wait to finally do it Swift has been rumored to join Deadpool and Wolverine for a while now with early Buzz suggesting she might finally take on the role of dazzler the X-Men hero who doubles as a pop star these rumors go back to 2015 when she posed with the X-Men apocalypse producer and cast with Deadpool and Wolverine bringing back many obscure X-Men characters and merging them into the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans speculated Swift would make her debut as dazzler recently cameras even caught her hanging and Wolverine announcement video in the same house featured in Swift’s All Too Well 10-minute version video adding to The Buzz Reynolds didn’t exactly shut down the rumors when asked about Swift joining the film saying with movies like this there’s so much speculation about who might show up I’ve seen rumors that even Elvis could make an appearance anything’s possible and that’s what makes this universe exciting Deadpool thrives on surprises however a teaser featuring just a pair of legs has sparked speculation that Swift might actually be playing Lady Deadpool instead of dazzler personally I’m hoping she ends up as dazzler rather than Lady Deadpool Blake Lively would be fantastic as Lady Deadpool in Deadpool and Wolverine if Lady Deadpool ends up being the role for lively in Deadpool and Wolverine it would be a perfect fit for several reasons firstly Lively is known for her strong presence and versatile acting skills which have sha in many of her recent roles seeing her tackle a comedic character like Lady Deadpool would offer audiences a fresh perspective on her talents despite the challenges of the 2011 Green Lantern movie one of its highlights was the chemistry between Reynolds and Lively as how Jordan and Carol Ferris their partnership was cut short due to the film’s box office struggles so reuniting them in a successful comicbook franchise would be a Redemption of sorts the dynamic between them especially in the Multiverse context of Deadpool and Wolverine could be genuinely hilarious and entertaining it would also be strategic to introduce Lively’s character towards the end of the Deadpool Trilogy especially since she hasn’t appeared in the previous films keeping her involvement Under Wraps until now would add an element of surprise for fans with the movies released just around the corner we’ll soon find out if Lady Deadpool is indeed making her cinematic debut and if Lively will be the one bringing her to life on screen well that’s Deadpool is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld, the character first appeared in The New Mutants #98 (cover-dated February 1991).
