I was going to make a joke, but I really feel for her kids, especially her two oldest. It must be really tough on them, developing a relationship with your stepfather and then just as quickly having to say goodbye. I hope the best for them.

At some point, man or woman, just stop getting married. Nothing says you can’t be with a new partner for years and years, but marriage may not be for you. Especially if you have kids. Keep your new relationship away from them. They will learn from your example.
