Storyline,
Mickey sees Rigoberto Sanchez, a young man who isn’t a baseball player but sells peanuts at games, throwing pitches with his younger brother, and learns how good he is. Because she likes his curveball, she talks Pete into going to a practice in Atlanta.

This was Eastwood’s return to acting after his last film, Gran Torino, in 2008, and his first acting part in a picture that he had not directed since his brief appearance in Casper in 1995. A producer who claimed that his former partner had stolen an incomplete script after a disagreement and worked with his agency and Warner Bros. to market the film as the work of an illustrious individual filed a lawsuit against it for plagiarism a year after its release.
