My family once had landlords who raised pigs. The sow was the runt but had a large litter of her own. She was very protective of them. Her runt was something else.
Suppose Oliver had just found a place not far from the penthouse. He could have hired some help and just farmed on the weekends. That would have been a very different show. Another twist would have been him getting disillusioned. His fantasies of farm life didn't come true. Yet Lisa fell in love with the place.
