Olympic men’s triathlon postponed due to river pollution: There’s too much E. coli in the Seine river for athletes to swim in it.

I mean seeing that river in person, I was flabbergasted learning they were gonna have people swimming in it.

Lol I pretty much spend all my summer evenings with my friends on the banks of the Seine and let me tell you the amount of shit that I see get thrown in the Seine is enough to make me *never* consider dipping *a finger* in it. And that’s not taking into account the people that probably piss and shit in it, the dead bodies of birds, ducks and actual people lmao

Them trying to gaslight everyone into thinking it was clean was wild. You couldnt pay me to get in that water. Surely there was another river in France they could have used?!
