16 Biggest Superhero Oscar Snubs of All-Time, From ‘Deadpool’ to ‘The Dark Knight’

You know what? I was prepared to read that list and hate everything about it: It’s pretty solid actually. 

(However, I’ve never considered RoboCop a superhero movie, otherwise I’d say Short Circuit 1 & 2 should’ve just been the entire list)

Was super ready to hate this because I went in thinking they’d all be Best Picture “snubs.” Turns out they were some really thoughtful takes on technical awards, mostly Editing and Effects, that I can see some really good arguments for.

Except Best Picture for The Dark Knight. It’s a fun movie. Dare I say one of the best comic book movies. But it’s still that, a schlocky at times superhero movie. It’s still a good movie. Better than Benjamin Button, Wall-E, Frost/Nixon, The Wrestler, Doubt, or even Kung Fu Panda? Yeah fuckin right.
