Evangeline Lilly Gocht – 9th place Women Qualifiers – run 2 – World Freestyle Championships 2024

The 2024 World Freestyle Championships took place in Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany, in June 2024. The event saw one of the largest rosters for many years, with 97 skaters traveling from across the globe to take part.

The contest was held at a prestigious regatta, used for Olympic training, with thousands of spectators visiting to see some incredible skating and enjoy the festival feel of the event. In total, over €60,000 was invested into the event, provided by the local government and some very generous sponsors, with a special, skate-friendly wooden floor being installed just for the contest.

The standard of skateboarding was, as expected, incredible! A broad range of powerful skating, creative tricks and stylish, flowing routines went down, including some NBD combos. The Qualifiers took place across two days, with the top skaters from each division progressing to the finals on Sunday.

Unfortunately, as it was the previous year (when it was the European Championships), most of the finals were cancelled due to rain, so the Qualifiers results were taken as the finals.
