PARIS – Former Iowa State Cyclone Tyrese Haliburton and the United States Men's Basketball Team won the Olympic Gold Medal in Paris with a 98-87 victory over France.
The United States went 6-0 in the Olympic Games to win the gold medal. Haliburton appeared in three of the six games, averaging 2.7 points, 0.7 assists and 0.3 steals per game. He is one of just 12 players on the team to earn the medal.
