I think itâs so impressive and amazing. The fact that Rihanna has not put out any new music since 2022 yet sheâs still one of the most streamed artist.
Edit: itâs also really cool that she is still in the top 10 of Spotify and she hasnât released a new album since 2016. Thatâs extremely impressive the staying power that she has without having to release new music.
obviously happy for taylor. this data definitely helps to back up why ttpd has been able to remain at #1 for so long.
but itâs also really impressive that rihanna hasnât released new music in 8 years (?) and sheâs still pulling streaming numbers like that. and impressive that billie has these numbers with 3 albums, her music is personally not for me but sheâs impressive and very talented
Taylor has been #1 in amounts of daily streams for around 620 days now. On a typical day her streams are 2 or 3 times more than #2 (who is now Billie Eilish usually, or Bad Bunny)

**Taylor’s Monthly Listener Count:** 95.68 million
**Billie’s Monthly Listener Count:** 106.12 million
**Taylor’s Avg. Monthly Stream Count in 2024:** 20.4 billion / 8 months so far = 2.55 billion
**Billie’s Avg. Monthly Stream Count in 2024:** 6.8 billion / 8 months so far = 0.85 billion
Which means…
Taylor’s Avg. Monthly Streams per Listener: 2.55 billion / 95.68 million = 26.7 streams per listener per month
Billie’s Avg. Monthly Streams per Listener: 0.85 billion / 106.12 million = 8.0 streams per listener per month
Pretty neat to see this in context. Billie has more unique listeners but they listen to fewer songs than Taylor’s. Having 26.7 avg streams per listener is… wild.
Anyone has the data for all inclusive genders? I’m a sucker for infographics like these.
