Per court documents obtained by Page Six, the singer asked a judge to change her legal name from Jennifer Lynn Affleck to Jennifer Lynn Lopez after taking the actor’s last name when they eloped in July 2022.
Lopez, 55, previously gushed about becoming Mrs. Affleck, referring to the gesture as “romantic” and “traditional.”

What a shit show. She looms like a delusional clown in all of this. They both do. Ben should have known better, and she should realize that some things are sacred, but no. She had to shout it from the hills.
Still, I do feel sorry for her.
I feel like we’re going to be hearing about this divorce for a long, long time. I think it makes sense that she drops Affleck as her legal last name if they’re no longer married and don’t share any kids.
