Beyoncé fans expressed disappointment over social media after rumors swirled that the singer would perform at the final night of the Democratic National Convention. A clip was posted online of Beyoncé’s song Freedom being played at soundcheck during the convention, but the singer never took the stage.

Bey probably was supposed to show up, but something happened last min. Her manager didn’t say anything until *after the DNC…while sources reported she was going to show up before the event even started. Plus, there was a long pause in the middle of the event…so something definitely happened.
