This movie makes me cry like no other. Just the opening musical notes from “Feed the Birds” gets me tearing up.
For a really fascinating deep dive, David Tomlinson (Mr. Banks) had the kind of life that deserves its own movie — complete with his dad’s secret family, a first wife who had an extremely tragic ending, and advocacy for his autistic son in an era when that was on almost nobody’s radar.
