Arthur made Marilyn feel like she was more than just a trophy which was really validating for her. Sadly I don’t think Arthur was built to stay with one woman for very long. He left his wife for Marilyn and moved on from Marilyn quickly. He was everything she needed, and everything she didn’t all at once.
Why does the title say “the guy who wrote Death of a Salesman”? 💀 It’s more relevant to refer to him as her ex-husband or then-husband (depending on when the diary entry was written)
