this is an awful, awful tragedy all around. and while the driver was drunk, the fact that he made an aggressive, illegal move in an attempt to save a few seconds by passing in the outside the lane. drunk driving is dangerous, but so is distracted driving and aggressive driving. these families will forever have to deal with the ramifications of one man’s selfishness and impatience.

This is so awful. Two brothers killed by a drunk driver, both planning to be part of their sister’s wedding in mere hours. One wife was pregnant, and both brothers had children. The sister understandably cancelled her wedding. It’s hard to comprehend how they can all move on from this.
It’s beyond maddening that a drunk driver caused all of this, and that there will be painful repercussions for generations.
