i always lived with the impression that martha louise’s daughters were never actually royal, they just had the king and queen of norway as their grandparents
The royal house is different than the royal family. The royal house consists of only the heir, their spouse, and their heir. So, Sverre Magnus (second child of the current heir, Haakon) is also not in the royal house. Martha Louise and her daughters were never part of the royal house, as they were never heirs.
Martha’s children also don’t have royal titles and are private citizens. Norway doesn’t give out titles like Duke, Count, etc.
