    There’s two ways to look at this. The first is that it is an absolutely insanely low offer and I respect that they value their music more. However, the bands in these games get a ton of exposure which typically leads to additional bands and more people to potentially buy their records. Same reason why the NFL doesn’t pay the halftime performer. So I understand the point they’re trying to make, but this might be one of the situations where they miss the forest for the trees.

  2. I wonder how much they paid Kate Bush for Wow on Vice City. That lady takes no shit from industry suits.

  3. After a quick Google search artist can be paid anywhere from 15k to 40k to have their song in a movie. I understand it’s a video game, but I guess 7500 can be seen as a low ball offer.

    But with that being said, I’ve never even heard of Heaven 17. It’s not like these guys are the Rolling Stones or AC/DC. So is 7500 really a low ball offer? Or what they’re actually worth?
