      > Authorities told News 2 a 36-year-old woman was trying to jump from the bridge. Surveillance video shows several people walk by the woman before Bon Jovi and an acquaintance from his film crew approached her.

      > Bon Jovi and the acquaintance are seen engaging in a conversation with the woman before grabbing her and pulling her back over the bridge railing.

      > After making it over the railing, the woman is seen speaking with the music legend as he pulled her into an embrace.

      > “It takes all of us to help keep each other safe,” Metro Police Chief John Drake said.

      We’ve got to hold on to what we got.

      So Jon Bon Jovi not only runs a restaurant that helps feed people in need, but he also takes the time to actually intervene when he sees someone in mental crisis. It is so disappointing that multiple people walked past though.

      I can’t imagine being in your darkest moment and out of nowhere, out of all people, Bon Jovi appears. That has to be both surprising and confusing

      He seems to handle this very well based on the footage. Doesn’t do anything to startle her (apart from being fucking Jon Bon Jovi I guess). Makes gradual movement towards her. Engages her in conversation. Helps her back over the railings. Embraces her. Well done to him and to the others in his crew. A lot of people walked past her.
