Taylor Swift Remembers 9/11 During VMAs Acceptance Speech

Taylor Swift is taking a moment to reflect. While accepting the award alongside Post Malone for best collaboration for their song “Fortnight” at the MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor paused to remember the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. “You guys, I wanted to say, waking up this morning in New York on September 11th, I’ve been thinking about what happened 23 years ago. Everyone who lost a loved one, everyone that we lost, and that’s the most important thing about today — and everything that happens tonight falls behind that,” she shared.

  1. Taylor is such grace, intelligence and class and uber talented. Her diction and humanity is way above the others. To have remembered 9/11 speaks volumes🤩🥰👏👏👏🏆🏆🏆

  2. Glad she remembered the attacks, but she is voting for Kamala Harris who has promoted open borders and illegal criminal immigrants like the ones who perpetrated 9-11. The 9-11 families are for Trump because of his controlled border policy. Taylor is speaking out both sides of her mouth. When my sister's husband was crushed and burned to death on 9-11, I thought the country would be smart enough not to let it happen again. I guess not with an open border.

  3. Taylor swift haters on here are butt hurt because she endorsed Harris and knows Trump is evil and bad for the country but good for Putin and his buddy dictators
