While I’m not a fan of the choreography, I love the theme and backdrop!
I’m a little underwhelmed by this. There were so many comments on YouTube and on r/popheads saying that this is the best VMA performance in years, a career defining moment for her and that she’s basically the next Lady Gaga. I feel like I watched a different video…. the performance is totally fine, but nothing groundbreaking. I’ve seen way more energtic performances by her, I even like the on she did on The Tonight show better. And now I’m totally second guessing myself because so many people are saying she just wrote VMA history…
Maybe she’s just not used to having this much choreography and dancers, but I definitely prefer her performances that are more raw.
Could they not have done this performance from the stage of a gig in Europe?
I can’t believe she canceled on the Netherlands for this!! The Netherlands!!! /s
I know Good Luck, Babe is her big song but I would of loved a medley or just Hot To Go.
