The question is IF the dwarfs where to amass a large enough army to take back Moria from the Balrog how big would it need to be?
would all the dwarves in middle earth collected and attacking the Balrog be enough to take it out?
Or would every men, elf and dwarf in middle earth need to gathered in order to finally take it down?

Thing is, the Balrog only just kills Gandalf and Gandalf as an Istari has most of his powers locked away by Manwe. It was designed as a terror shock troop against Elves and Men, not against Valar and Mair so how powerful was it? It would appear to be not that powerful.
