  2. What she wrote wasn’t particularly aimed at any gender. She was eloquent, and simply stated what she saw as steady, capable leadership skills in Kamala. I’m no Swiftie in that I wouldn’t fly to another state or country, or pay $500 to see her in concert, and I don’t fine all of her music to my taste; but I can respect her acumen and talent, and I can acknowledge thought that’s gone into a pragmatic message that appeals to a reasoned view of politics. 

    You only have to be a reasonable person, disinterested in racism, bigotry and malevolence to see her point. Many people I know across political persuasions would be able to see her post as entirely sound. She didn’t even tell you whom to vote for; just that you pay attention and vote. If that’s alarming, we’re not really a very mature democracy at all.
