I watch it and read the books and I’m still really torn between finding it sweet and finding it annoyingly saccharine but I will never be annoyed that this representation exists for anybody. Like I know maybe it’s not realistic for a lot of teenagers but they deserve the happy fantasy stuff too, and I think it means a lot to a lot of people.
