industrial-planted pine forests not my idea of beauty in Ireland. they hold no life and no birds sing in them. Find some indigenous replanted of forests and give us hope for Ireland.

My son and I toured the Republic of Ireland in 2016. Drove all over the South part. East to West Coast with 3 days walking all over Dublin. Loved it.

My family is from Sligo. There are sooo many Cunningham’s but can’t seem to find our genetic relatives. 😕 My father went with his father in the 1960’s. He actually lived there! Then two other brothers. They each celebrated their birthdays there.

I haven’t to Ireland in too many years. I think I’ve been there 4 times and been to all counties but Ulster. Maybe next summer.
The only time I’ve seen mountains (so far!) was in Ireland when I visited Cashel in Tipperary. Very lovely place, but it rained every day! 😂
