      This is so dumb. Is no one allowed to give Beyonce even the slightest criticism? What he said wasn’t even bad. He was mainly complimentary.

      Why does she have to pander to some Association that decides what’s country or not? It makes no sense to me why rubbing elbows would change the album’s quality.

      It’s not racial. It’s political, in that Nashville and “country” music are a club. They have a stable of songwriters and producers that pick and choose who is given the most attention and who are pushed on the public. I think it makes it worse than some people thinking it’s racial. He’s basically saying you have to kiss the rings of the decision makers like he did. That’s why all the songs sound the same. The same people make them.

      I wonder what he will say if Post Malone gets nominated/wins. Cause he did the same thing as Beyoncé.
