I’m going to block Jan Crawford on Twitter now…but I also think it is kind of dumb to address this on Oct. 7. They should have done it on Friday.

  2. Funny to hear them mention all defenders of the interviewer and the critics of CBS doing a marginal review saying things like “prevent a one sided telling of the conflict”; bruh your networks exclusively interview IDF official propaganda department on a daily basis.

  3. You mean the deeply racist interview where a Zionist all but said that Coates is an extremist and implied that he’s no different than a terrorist isn’t journalism? Ridiculous.

This was a master class by Ta-Nehisi in communicating your message and not letting a hostile interviewer derail or dilute it. The tone was incredibly confrontational for a morning show interview/book promo with the clear intention of putting Ta-Nehisi on the defensive, not to mention the questions that Tony asked showed his own anti-Palestinian bias and deeply flawed understanding of the occupation.

Two of Tony’s children and his ex-partner live in occupied Palestine so he is far from a impartial interviewer.

I encourage you to listen to Ta-Nehisi’s own recollections of his time in Al-Khalil and on solidarity with Black communities in the United States. [This is a good video](https://x.com/PalFest/status/1841844511552479293) which includes Ta-Nehisi (and Maaza Mengiste and Eve Ewing)and shows the system of apartheid as it operates there.

No shit Sherlock. Maybe the interviewer should have disclosed his personal connection to the story or someone else should have interviewed Ta-Nehisi

The way the other two hosts just sat there the whole time saying nothing….pure clownery.
