Princess Charlene Participates in the ‘Rokethon Race 2024’

On October 5, 2024, Princess Charlene of Monaco participated in the walk against the abandonment of animals, the ‘Rokethon Race 2024.’ Walk, run with your dog! This solidarity race aims to promote adoption but also to raise public awareness about the abandonment and protection of animals. Princess Charlene is the president of the Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA – Société Protectrice des Animaux) in Monaco.

Since 1845, the mission of SPA has been to fight against animal cruelty and abandonment, to rescue and shelter mistreated and abandoned animals, to find new homes for animals whose owners can no longer afford them, to raise awareness for animal protection amongst young people, to promote responsible ownership and to work with authorities on all issues regarding animal protection.
