      Oof. Yeah, given the casual islamophobia she’s engaged in in the past, especially her revolting comments about Zayn Malik, this isn’t really surprising but that doesn’t make the statements any less heinous or disgustingly racist.

      Oh look Azealia Banks with yet another idiotic, attention seeking and unhinged take. I don’t know why people still pay attention to this woman as she engages in this behavior to court controversy and clout. She’s clearly a horrible human being and she has proven that in so many different ways. She’s racist, homophobic and completely ignorant. I wish everyone would just ignore her and her hateful comments.

      She’s so vile. Mind you, two of the most well known black civil rights leaders—MLK and Malcolm X spoke about liberation for Palestine and its people. Palestinians online sent advice to BLM protestors on how to protect themselves from tear gas and showed an immense amount of solidarity after George Floyd was murdered despite their own suffering.

      I’m not American but I am black and I’m not going to fall for the old divide and conquer crap here. There’s a reason there’s so much solidarity between Black and Indigenous people with Palestinians. Hell you can even throw in the Irish here, we know what it’s like to confront our oppressors.

      This is coming from the same clown that complained about the racism she faced in Israel so she can get lost with her bullshit.

      This is beyond vile. People are suffering and dying, and instead of showing even a shred of humanity, she’s making it all about herself with ignorant and hateful comments. How someone can be so heartless while innocent lives are being lost is beyond me.

      I don’t know when we decided that everything Azealia Banks says is worth discussing. She was a talented rapper with a lot of promise, but that was 12 years ago at this point. I just don’t find her particularly culturally relevant anymore and wonder why we’re still doing this whole “OMG can you believe what Azealia said about _____” routine in 2024.

      Will this be what finally gets her sycophants to see she’s a bad person? Probably not. “Celebrity ignorance” is a pretty big claim for her to make given how little of note she’s actually done in years.

      Asking the opinion on geopolitical matters to someone who is as self absorbed as azealia is madness. Why would anyone care about her opinion on anything?
