Somehow it’s totally camp and ridiculous and yet it’s not for me.

When I was in high school, we’d gather at a friend’s house to watch this every year, but I haven’t thought about it since.
The world has shifted away from this (at least a little) and (at least a bit more) towards body positivity, diversity, etc. It’s too late for them to hop on board without it seeming totally disingenuous. Plus, the theme of the show is like…gluttonous beauty standards so I don’t think it would even work if they tried.
