Liam Payne’s Cause Of Death Revealed In First Autopsy Report: All The Heartbreaking Details

Liam Payne’s cause of death has been revealed. The singer died of “multiple trauma” and “internal and external bleeding” as a result of falling from the third floor balcony of his hotel in Buenos Aires, according to the Argentina National Prosecutor’s Office. The preliminary autopsy report included that authorities seized substances from his room and interviewed five witnesses, three hotel workers and two women, all of whom had left the hotel before his death. Though the report’s findings indicate that he was alone and appeared to suffer a substance-abuse related breakdown, the prosecutor’s office is still investigating the incident as a “doubtful death” as a matter of protocol. As previously reported, hotel staff called 911 shortly before Liam’s death to ask for help with one their guests who the employee claimed was under the influence of drugs and alcohol and tearing up their room. Liam was not named in the call and by the time police arrived, the beloved One Direction member had already fallen and died from his injuries.
