How Selena Gomez’s Little Sister Grace Drives Her Passion To Support Mental Health

Selena Gomez’s little sister Gracie Elliot Teefey is continuing to inspire her. At the second annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit, the Emmy-nominated actress told Access Hollywood what continues to drive her passion to supporting the youth when it comes to mental health. “So many things. First, I’ll start with the fact that I have an 11-year-old sister who means the world to me and when I was younger, I had no way of understanding the emotions I was feeling until I was much older,” she told Access. “There are so many people in the younger communities that are in pain and if there’s anything I can do to help one person, it makes everything else I do so worth it,” she added. The “Only Murders in the Building” star also revealed why she decided to post a makeup-free selfie. Selena’s second annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit aims to raise $100 million to increase access to youth mental health services and education globally.

  1. But there is nothing sweeter than to dwell in towers that rise
On high, serene and fortified with teachings of the wise,
From which you may peer down upon the others as they stray
This way and that, seeking the path of life, losing their way:
The skirmishing of wits, the scramble for renown, the fight,
Each striving harder than the next, and struggling day and night,
To climb atop a heap of riches and lay claim to might.
