Kerry Washington says shows need more time to grow a fanbase

Well when they put out 10 episodes then you have to wait 2 to 3 years for a second season its hard to keep a fanbase. We use to have 22 episodes from September to May. Then on top of that a ton of shows get cancelled on a cliffhanger so people are less likely to tune into a new show so they wait for it to have a few seasons before they commit.
