On Friday night, singer Chappell Roan had a tense moment on the red carpet at the premiere of “Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour” concert film in Los Angeles.

Dressed in a striking red gown, Chappell spotted a familiar photographer in the crowd — and approached them, accusing them of yelling at her during the Grammy Awards in February.

According to Chappell, the photographer had been “disrespectful and rude” and, in her view, owed her an apology.

In a video capturing the tense encounter, Chappell Roan is seen confronting a photographer on the red carpet, asking for an apology. “I deserve an apology for that,” she asserts, followed by, “You need to apologize to me.”

The photographer remains silent initially, but the “HOT TO GO” singer presses on, questioning him directly until a member of the event staff steps in, gently tugging her arm to guide her away from the scene.

Chappell Roan isn’t new to standing her ground on the red carpet. Earlier this year, she had a similar confrontation at the MTV Video Music Awards, where Variety captured the heated moment on video. When a photographer yelled at her to “Shut the f-ck up,” Roan fired back, saying, “You shut the f-ck up.”
