Your after-episode conversation, especially about the importance of Father Lantom and Matthew's faith, was very, very good. I truly appreciate that you both gave the most important aspect of the TV series and Matthew's character the recognition it deserves.

Daredevil was the Breaking Bad of comics book shows, Daredevil is a true MCU Legend. We can only Hope Born Again have the same level of amazing writing!
Sad that we did not get Season 4 was excited to watch Bullseye and Daredevil
There were several seasons planned after this. New characters, new villains, the works. The fact it got cancelled right here was incredibly frustrating, but the writing was so good that by the end of this season, Daredevil became fully realized, and finally came to understand who he is, and why he’s had to suffer. Imagine this world without Daredevil. Where Fisk runs free/unchecked, and completely takes over New York, the FBI, Shield, and probably several other government agencies. The Avengers dismantled, the world overrun. Matt needed to go through everything he’s been through to save countless innocent lives. Marvel exists around the idea that one person can change the world for better or worse.
Bullseye spin and part of his skull was/were replaced with Adamantium in the comics.
When Matt threw that tray to stop Dex at the wedding reception, he was saving Vanessa, not Fisk. Matt miscalculated sending Dex after Fisk, because he mainly targeted Vanessa to hurt Fisk.
Please do the punisher series next 🙏🏻 you guys will love it!!

The doctors at the end are part of the Weapon X program and replace Bullseye's spine with Adamantium. Yeah – just like Wolverine. Same doctors.
I think Matt went to kill Fisk but he simply couldn't bring himself to do it.
Instead he utterly defeated him and it's MUCH more satisfying.
I would LOVE for you guys to watch New Rockstar 's breakdowns of this series, they are redoing them to prepare for the new season and I think you two would enjoy the breakdowns and Easter eggs after watching the series yourselves

If Disney is smart they wouldn't touch the formula of this series. Continue it with the same themes and don't "Disneyfy" it. If they keep it like his Netflix had it then they would get so much props.
Yes, yes, yes. Definitely would love to see a Punisher reaction video. 😂 This was bittersweet. Phenomenal Series Finale for Daredevil but the end of the reaction road for y'all and the Netflix series. Season 1 of Punisher would be a cool season for y'all to watch. Season 2…(waves hand)…so-so. It's not as bad as JJ Season 2 or any of Iron Fist. But whatever y'all do next, I'll watch. Y'alls reactions are awesome.
On the Catholicism discussion, I'm not religious, BUT, the confessional seems like a really effective means of achieving integrity of one's identity– acceptance of the entire, both good and bad decisions and their effects.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this entire 3 seasons of DD with you 2 ladies along for the ride. I found this particular show would have been great even without the super hero element just as a crime series which I love. Keep up the good work. I'm personally not into Marvel or DC comic characters so this is the end for me re this genre. Will check out other shows you have reviewed.
I don't think Netflix was done with Daredevil, but Disney pulled the plug on everything. For sure, they would have had a third season of Punisher, which you should definitely watch. It looked as though they were setting up a return for Bullseye. The "Reborn" season will have Wilson Fisk, and there was talk about Jessica Jones, either in this series, or one of her own. Don't know about Karen and Foggy. I'm like everyone else. Scared of what Disney might do to tarnish the legacy. Fingers crossed. Also, Dex would have killed Vanessa, but part of the confusion in the fight was that it was being waged on more than one front, and Matt was determined not to let her be killed, along with his desire to end Fisk. Great show. Watch more Jessica Jones and both seasons of Punisher.

YES for punisher. DD and Punisher are the top 2 of the marvel netflix shows, Daredevil s03 and Punisher s02 are definitely some of the best written seasons of television.
If you guys have time you check out Ben Affleck's Daredevil movie. It's a very different interpretation of daredevil.
The biggest missed opportunities of not getting season 4 are not getting to explore more of Maggie and Matt's mother son relationship. Not following up Melvin going to prison. And also not following up Dex and getting a rematch.
People are mad foggy and Karen aren't main characters in the new show. But personally the three characters I named are more important for moving things forward. I still want foggy and Karen but they were given a complete story.

Netflix planned for a season 4, but Disney bought the ip back so the plan was cancelled.
Marvel and Netflix deal fell through so all shows stopped Bullseye would of been a great villain for season 4 😭
There was actually supposed to be 2 more seasons, it got prematurely cancelled. Next season would have been Typhoid Mary and season 5 would have been one last showdown with Fisk, Dex on the side again

Deborah Ann Woll said that there was suppose to be a season 4. They had it all setup but it was shutdown. Not sure why, but season 4 would have been great!

When this came out, it was such a reaffirmation of faith after the drop of quality seen in the Netflix run of shows (Iron Fist, the Defenders, Jessica Jones' second season, and to an extent Luke Cage and Punisher), it really primed the audience for more excellent shows. At that point there was just a little bit of rumour about friction between Disney and Netflix, mostly around the requirement to make the series' longer when Netflix wanted the freedom to do more tightly written compact series.
Disney pulling the plug not long after Daredevil Season 3 was a shock to many, and it's all because they wanted a streaming/media monopoly.
I hope their reboot/soft relaunch of Daredevil is good, but I'm concerned that it won't live up to the example set by the Netflix run. Especially with the role of Vanessa being recast already, and how shallow the portrayal of Fisk in the Hawkeye series was… hoping for the best, preparing for the worst
