I’d like to hear more about Tom Cruise! It’s FASCINATING that all these celebs are on their downfall, but we haven’t heard anything abt Tom
Tom Cruise is an enigma. I don't think I like him – overall. But you can't help but respect his acting and stunt work ability, and he's a fascinating person. You can appreciate the good without denying the bad. People are complicated. You're a fantastic storyteller. Normally I feel guilty engaging with celeb/tabloid content, but you're so authentic and you are..kinda deep! It lands entirely differently.
Definitely the right direction in asking something different and actually getting an authentic reaction. Also seeing how much of a comfortable person you are and then how you become a little weird in some interview/celebrity situations (you obviously couldn't except that hug) makes me think of me and how I see myself as a comfortable person and how in certain situations I can come across as the weirdest person in the world

The fact that Tom Cruise is high up in Scientology is creepy and a bit scary. However, he does come across as likable. He gave you some serious hugging!!! Loved the rapport between you and Al Pacino. He probably has never been asked that question. He had a great comeback. Great work Kjersti.
I absolutely love when he plays against type as a villain or darker character (big fan of Collateral and Magnolia). And he probably has 20 more years of acting to come. Just think about the roles he'll play when he actually finally looks old. I bet he'll do some of the best dramatic work of his life, seriously. He really probably is (or will be) the ultimate movie star of all time.
I don't agree with that nurse's assessment. Her job, as a nurse, is a very important job dealing with the public to treat their health as patients. Whereas celebrities job is to act in a movie and be on then. Anything we demand of them off of the screen is our own entitlement to place them in a jar, shake it and see if they flutter their wings as if trapping a beautiful butterfly. It's the public who is the entitled pampered priss when people who are tired of being famous are not in the mood to plaster a smile on their face. I understand if they are outright rude and bullying… but just not putting a smile on their face and entertaining a fan is not something we all are entitled to. They are entitled to have a bad day and it doesn't mean they're abusive if they won't play up to a fan's standard. That nurse's letter was outright mean and rude. Celebrities watching the kind of light they're being framed in and such interviews bad mouthing them because they weren't in a good mood or tired may want to steer clear. These videos are not giving you a good reputation as an interviewer people would want to have an exchange with lest they end up on a gossip channel.
Tom Cruise takes a lot of heat from the media and on the internet but in this exchange he seems like a really good dude.
I would ask Tom Cruise if he was an Olympian athlete what sport would he compete in?
