I tried this on a doll I rerooted as practice. Tinted Brow gel brushed into the roots would work for what you want and would keep her hair in place, so win/win?
Fabric markers work really well for roots but if you want any fades into other colors in the future Rit fabric dye works great on nylon hair not sure about suran. Ari looks great as all your dolls do, and do a chappel roan doll at some point that would be fun lol 😂❤️🏳️🌈💅
Any kind of alcohol markers for the roots. Like sharpy, copic, etc. then a bit if heat and hair spray to seal. Its a really good way ro give definition/ shading to cosplay wigs and stuff like that.

I would use probably eyeshadow for the roots

Use eyebrow pencil to draw the roots in! Practice on a old doll, it's also easy to fix mistakes
