State Visit of Finland’s President Alexander Stubb to Norway, Day Two

  1. Finnish President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb are making a two-day State Visit to Norway. On the second day of the State Visit, Queen Sonja of Norway and Finnish First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb visited Kven artist Åsne Kummeneje Mellem’s exhibition ‘(Sinne) Käsin’ at the Vigeland Museum in Oslo.

    In the exhibition, Kven artist Åsne Kummeneje Mellem explores käsityö, the traditional Kven craft, which is characterized by the pragmatic use of natural materials, often in combination with reuse and creative solutions.

    Afterwards, King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended a government luncheon in honor of President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb at the Government’s Official Reception Hall in Oslo.

    On the evening of the second day of the state visit, King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended a return event hosted by Finnish President Alexander Stubb and First lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb at the Nobel Peace Center.
