Menendez Brothers’ Lawyer Reacts to D.A.’s Resentencing Recommendation (Full Press Conference)
Lyle and Erik Menendez’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, speaks out after L.A. District Attorney George Gascón said they should be resentenced for the 1989 murders of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez. Geragos calls the D.A. recommending the resentencing of the brothers a ‘monumental victory’ after being in prison for nearly 35 years.

These young men need to get out and they need to sue. Our laws need to change for incest survivors and domestic violence victims
they sure do look like functioning members of society now, after 35 years in prison. i'm sure they'll have zero issues coming back into the world now.

For those who think the brothers should remain in prison…..I wonder if you have actually researched the case and I wonder if you have ever suffered abuse. I think if you took a closer look at the details of the case and understood what they endured and not just based your opinions on rumors or hearsay, you might feel differently. Now that I’m older than I was when this case first happened, and now that I have lived a little more life, and now that I have researched the case for myself…I have a change of opinion. I used to think they were just hateful greedy little brats.
