WASHINGTON (Gray DC) – The campaign trail has never been more star studded than the final few weeks before the 2024 presidential election.

Both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump’s campaigns have turned to celebrities to help deliver their final messages before election day.

Friday night in Houston, the Harris campaign brought out Texas native Beyonce.

“I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician, I’m here as a mother who cares deeply about the world,” Beyonce said while introducing Harris.

“Are you ready to add your voice to the new American song,” Beyonce asked as a part of her message.

The campaigns have largely coordinated celeb appearances to make it resonate with a particular swing state.

Eminem appeared in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan to introduce former President Barack Obama.

“Going into this election the spotlight is on us more than ever and I think it’s important to use your voice,” Eminem said.

Former President Donald Trump has also used celebrities to his advantage in swing states.

Georgia native and country music star Jason Aldean spoke at an Atlanta rally earlier in the week.

“When I was asked to come back home it was really a no brainer for me,” Aldean said.

Trump has a rally scheduled Wednesday in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Former Packers quarterback — and hall of famer — Brett Favre is expected to speak at the rally.

Top pollsters show Trump and Harris in a dead heat in most of the swing states, meaning any sway a celeb can give could push either candidate over the finish line.
