Talking to hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, Hayek revealed her daughter’s intentions to eventually become a director, but for now, the teen is “going her own way.”
“There’s nothing that she’s doing [in the film industry] right now,” Hayek, 58, shared during the talk show appearance, adding that Valentina “wants to study political science” and minor in film.
“She wants to be a director but she doesn’t want to study to be a director because she said, ‘It’s in my blood. I want to spend time learning something more complicated,'” the Magic Mike’s Last Dance star explained.
