You wouldn’t think it but Minnesota is actually a huge part of Hollywood. So many famous celebrities are actually from the Land Of 10,000 Lakes.

In fact, over the past few years, there has been an insane amount of celebrity sightings. Everyone from Lady Gaga to Gerard Butler has been spotted and all over the map, too!

Celebrities have been noticed in big cities like Minneapolis and in smaller ones, like Duluth and Rochester.

It also helps that there have been a handful of motion pictures filmed here over the years as well, like the Duluth-filmed hit Merry Kiss Cam a few years back and Joe Keery’s film Marmalade that filmed outside of the Twin Cities.

My favorite on the list? Ian Anthony Dale! The actor is best known for his role on Hawaii Five-O, which is one of my very favorites.

It’s always fun to have celebrity sightings in our neck of the woods because it is uncommon and that makes it exciting! There’s also a ton of celebrities that are actually from Minnesota, which means they could also be spotted at anytime if they are visiting back home.

Peter Krause is one of the most famous actors from Minnesota and talks about it often in interviews, like this one with Jimmy Kimmel. Overall, there are way more Minnesota connections than you’d think.
