Can you get me a soda?

Kate Hudson paid homage to her “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days” character Andie Anderson by recreating an iconic scene from the hit 2003 film during Game 5 of the World Series.

Hudson, 45, shared the clip on TikTok, right before the Los Angeles Dodgers were crowned 2024 World Series Champions at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Oscar-nominated actress donned an all-black outfit and aptly accessorized with a World Series hat, captioning her playful clip, “Game 5, bases loaded…”

In the nostalgia-fueled video, she turned to her friend that was decked out in full Dodgers attire and asked, “Can you get a soda?”

“No,” her pal replied, to which Hudson asked again, “No, can you go get me a soda?”

“Right now?” her friend asked.

“Yeah like right now,” Hudson said, gently touching her friend’s back and appearing to jokingly guide her out of the seat and to the concessions stand.

“No,” her friend said again.

“How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days” is “one of the funniest movies I have ever seen,” one fan replied to Hudson’s TikTok.

The bit was a reference to one of the many unforgettable scenes from the chick-flick she starred in alongside Matthew McConaughey.

In the film, Hudson and McConaughey’s characters Andie and Benjamin are at a Knicks game, and towards the end of the match-up she asks him to get her a soda.

He rushes out to get her a drink, he rushes back to catch the end of the game, only for her to ask for another soda because the one he got wasn’t “diet.”

After running out to get her a diet drink, Benjamin ends up missing the Knicks’ big win at Madison Square Garden.

It wasn’t long before the clip went viral on social media, amassing over 2 million views on the platform in just hours.

“This is the best thing I’ve seen all year,” another penned, while a third added, “This movie taught me to never be a man’s peace.”

The hit film follows Hudson’s character, a dating columnist, who is tasked with an assignment to date and drive away a man in 10 days, while her test subject (played by McConaughey) is in a bet with colleagues that he can make any woman fall in love with him within the same time span.

The movie ended up dominating the box office, racking up a whopping $177.5 million with a $50 million budget.
